What does a coaching programme involve?
The service is completely personal and is tailored to your individual needs. We help you to develop a clearer picture of yourself and where you want to take your life and your career, building on your strengths, interests and values. We will offer tools and strategies to identify and prioritise career options and we will support you to develop a clear action plan to explore your career objectives. We will use our skills, knowledge and insight to support you to manage your career effectively.
You will typically have a programme of four to six meetings. These are preferably face-to-face although we are also happy to work with you by telephone or Skype.
You will be able to discuss your career issues, thoughts and options with an objective careers specialist. We use proven exercises and in-depth discussion to enable you to develop a fuller and realistic picture of your strengths, interests, values, personality preferences and preferred work environment. We help you to clarify your career dreams and goals and what success means to you. We are qualified in a range of psychometric instruments so you can choose to use a strengths or a personality profile, if you would like to explore your preferences in more detail.
At the end of each session, we will review your learning and agree the actions you will take before we meet again. Your coach will be available by email between meetings to answer any questions. By the end of the final meeting you will have a clear action plan to enable you to move forward confidently with your career development.
What is the cost of a coaching programme?
For self-funded individuals the coaching prices are £110 to £130 per hour, dependent on the proposed coaching plan and on the method and location of the coaching. We aim to provide a service which is both professional and affordable. We will not ask you to sign up to an expensive long-term programme - you pay only for the services that you need.
